"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle."
A quote from Edmund Burke in "Thoughts on the Cause of Present Discontents" has, in general use, come to be delivered as, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
Which ever version you prefer, the message is the same: evil will, therefore good must.
I was going to say yesterday, that although I have admired Edmund Burke for years - ever since Barbra Streisand quoted him in What's Up Doc? - I have no idea who David Sisler is.
He could very well be a right-wing fascist using Burke's words to support his agenda.
Then again, he could be a perfectly nice guy.
As usual I didn't make the effort to find out, and stuck the comment on there anyway.
On the bright side... you now have 10 comments for this post. My work is done. : )

I love this line so much, and am so impressed with my own cleverness, I'm going to recycle it for use on other blogs, as I have nothing original to say.
