...at the Garvers?
First day of school for dad and Annie...and last 'first day' for our high school senior.
Steven next to the surviving tomato plants (he's 6'2").
New (for us) car....we love it!
(nice to have A/C, working windows and no deer hair in a broken headlight:)
Dad and Wilson trying out the new toy at the shooting range. (note to self...bring EXTRA ear protection next time)
...and painting Annies room.

Um, are you sure those aren't tomato TREES?! Holy moly!
You and the hubby sure do make some adorable chilluns. :) And congrats on the new car!
Isn't it amazing...these are the only really healthy plants (most have died) and they are going nuts! I just can't quite figure out this gardening thing.
We were car-less for a couple weeks when our Corolla died (only have the one vehicle) and it wasn't that bad, but we did struggle getting our shopping done. The bus to the nearest town where we do our grocery shopping as well as the Farmers Market takes an HOUR (for a 10 minute drive). And with 4 drivers in the house, we decided a car is still in the picture for us. Maybe someday.......
Yeah, I feel your pain on the bus thing. My favorite farmers market is a good 40 minutes away by bus. Overall, I'm still digging the car free life though! But if I didn't live in a downtown urban area with lots of my needs within walking distance, it so wouldn't be happening!
