First Business Card...ever

I love it...my daughter (pictured) hates it. I just spent $30 on 250 business cards; am I supposed to throw them away because she can't stand the picture? I love my DD, honest I do....but crimony...and just so you know, she hates about half of the pics I take of her and my goodness she's georgous! I don't want to traumatize her for life, but really .....who am I going to give these to anyway? Maybe I'll keep them for now, and in a month or so (as our budget permits) I'll have some more made up....geez!

Thanks Julie, but you know, you've given me a lot to think about when it comes to how I treat my kids...and I mean that in a good way. I don't want her cringing every time I hand out a card. Funny thing is, she loves the pic of her and Brad, where he is looking off to the distance and she is looking at the camera (did I send you that?) taken on the same day. But I figured she wouldn't want to be in one with her icky brother. And I kind of need just a head shot cause the photo ends up so small on the card.

She'll get over, or not. Either way, she'll live - and live to make you feel guilty. Forget it and use the cards anyway. The purpose is to show off your great photography - not to soothe her vanity. The picture is fine = the daughter is, well, you know. They are not pleasable. Take one of my daughter - she won't mind ;-)

That's a good idea Nancy, with Grace I wouldn't have to worry about what she thought (YOU would!).

You know, I do need to balance being sensitive to being pratical. I'll use them for now, and we'll see how it goes...maybe she'll change her mind and be OK with them (she is fickle:).

I forgot to say that I REALLY like your "logo" and font on your business card. It's so you!
And sorry to have sounded so negative on the last post. BTW, how about we trade for awhile? I don't think my daughter will scream at you.
